Indeed, God has rewarded females with the gift of motherhood, thus they may act kind towards children. Love of a mother can last a lifetime and is an essential ingredient in transforming kids into men and then gentlemen. Absence of mother is unfortunate which may lead children towards the paths they must not follow.
On this Mothering Sunday, try something unique for your mom. Indeed, she will not be expecting expensive from her children. However, giving them the right amount of attention and care would be enough for her.
Mother’s Day dates back to time when the Romans and Greeks celebrated mother goddesses Cybele and Rhea. However, it was Anna Jarvis in 1908 who recorded first ever Mother’s Day on demise of her mother in 1905.
It was the struggle of Anna that lead to Mothering Sunday, as she too believed in celebrating it as a holiday. Do you want to honour your mother for the sacrifices she has rendered for you and family, go ahead. Give her the best time of her life; she might not need presents but your attention.
Nevertheless, Mothers do not deserve anything less expensive, do they? Give her something that lasts for a lifetime and she will not forget that is for sure. Do not give her a bunch of flowers but something more appreciative.
